Nike SB Dunk Low Crushed DC
In collaboration with Crushed, the historic skateboard shop in Washington DC, Nike introduces a new variation of the SB Dunk Low. This exclusive edition, called the Nike SB Dunk Low Crushed DC, is a tribute to the dynamic skate community of the American capital.
The Nike SB Dunk Low Crushed DC features a white tumbled leather upper, accented with brown suede overlays with a distressed look. Orange accents pop, including a marbled Swoosh overlay on the side, and a Nike Grind outsole made from recycled materials, adding a sustainable approach to the design.
Nike's Beaverton-based creative team took inspiration from the sun's reflection on Freedom Plaza, a popular hangout for Washington, D.C. skaters, for this iteration of the SB Dunk Low. The color and material combination captures the essence of Washington and pays homage to the vibrant local skate culture.
